Color grabber laundry detergent2/18/2024 The results were truly amazing! The red stain is 99% gone & my husband’s new shirt is totally wearable again! Your product made a believer out of me & I will always keep a supply of this “little miracle in a box” on hand. I wish I had taken a before & after photo of this process. Once it appeared that the bright red pocket was gone & back to its original color I rinsed the shirt & promptly put it into the washing machine. I filled a large bucket with hot water, immersed the shirt, (which I will mention turned from light blue to bright purple while in the solution, but when removed from the solution it returned to it’s original color – fascinating), & stirred occasionally. Last night I followed the directions on the box. Mission accomplished! They carried the whole line of Carbona stain removing products in the laundry products aisle. A woman at the fabric counter suggested I check WalMart. I checked with all of the local big box craft & fabric stores with no luck. I ‘ve never checked shirt pockets before washing them, so I guarantee I will from now on.Īfter researching online, & learning about your product & it’s success rate, I went on a mission to locate Carbona Color Run Remover. I only knew this because when I went to hang the clothes up after they were dried I saw that his brand new shirt had a hideous red pocket now. My husband left 2 red ticket stubs in the chest pocket of his brand new baby blue & white plaid western shirt. I just wanted to thank you for creating such an amazing product! I”m so thrilled with the results, that I just had to write this. Thank you so much for removing the blue from my day!!! Ive told all my friends about your little yellow bottles of stain removers for years. Everything came out perfect and back to the original colors!! How do you do it? Why are you the only company out there selling such wonderful products .its amazing and I just had to tell how happy I am. So I used you product (noted above) and IT WORKED Im so excited. My entire wash load turned blue (the yellows were now lime green yikes). I had washed a new blue t-shirt with my light colored things, thinking is was pretty expensive, it shouldnt run. I purchased it only because everything you make works just like it says it will and to have it in my laundry just in case. Recently I found a new product of yours (at least to me, it was new) called ∼olor Run Remover. I would love to hear your opinions about it too, so if you've tried one of them you can skip down to share your review here.Ive used your products for years and there is NOTHING better on the shelves or online for getting stains out of things. Here's some reviews of these products which address these very issues. It is obviously more frugal just to sort your clothes into various piles instead of using this product. In addition, these products aren't cheap. What I'm still trying to decide is if they collect enough dye to make it worth my while to use them, or if I'm just slowly making my clothes dingy by not sorting. You can see that, for example, from the dark color of the sheet after the wash (see picture above). I've personally tried some of these products (see my reviews below, along with other people's) and I have seen that they do collect dye. Here's the video from Consumer Reports showing their tests of two of the most popular brands of this product, Shout Color Catcher and Carbona Color & Dirt Grabber, and how they worked in comparison to just washing the clothes without the product included. While some people swear by these cloths (see some of the reviews below, for example) other authorities (namely Consumer Reports) say that these products just don't work as promised, and you should just save your money and sort your laundry like we've always been told to do before. The short answer to this is that people disagree. The million dollar question, however, is do they really work as promised? These color catchers promise a lot, like being able to wash all your clothes together, including a bright red garment with your whites. The cloths don't do that, but instead are just supposed to grab dye from the wash water. Please note that these catchers are not the same as dye or color remover products, which grab dye from fabric itself. Therefore, a special type of laundry product has been created to try to fix this problem - little pieces of cloth specially formulated to grab bleeding dyes in the wash water and keep them from redepositing on other clothes.
